At Bright Tomorrows Childcare Center we strive every day to provide our children with a safe, loving, nurturing environment, filled with lots of opportunities to learn about our world, to grow into strong, caring individuals, and to make lasting friendships and memories.
Bright Tomorrows Provides...
- A developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Daily nutritious lunch and snacks
- Monthly themes, enrichment programs and special guests
- Diapers and wipes provided for infants and toddlers
- An annual back to school night
We take a preventive approach to discipline.
This approach teaches positive behaviors, rather than punishing for misbehaviors. Our goal is to provide children with motivation and an opportunity to make choices. We allow the children to function independently, learning social skills through gentle, encouraging guidance. The children learn to respect the needs of others, to adapt to routines and simple rules, and they become responsible group members.
Parent Involvement is a very important part of our program.
If you have a special talent or interest you would like to share with our children, please do not hesitate to let us know. The center maintains an "open door" policy at all times allowing parents to come and observe their child at any time.
The staff at Bright Tomorrows takes pride in their job and strive to provide a fun, nurturing and safe environment for the children. All staff members are required to have training in CPR and First Aid and must participate in a minimum of eight hours of ongoing education in the areas of child development, classroom management and health and safety each year. Our Lead Teachers in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms have their bachelor's degree and/or a state certification in either early childhood/elementary education. At Bright Tomorrows, we believe communication with our families is one of the most important aspects of our job. Not only do teachers make themselves available to parents throughout the day, but we also fill out "Daily Contact Sheets", with a complete record of your child's day. We also update our "Parent Information Board" regularly and distribute monthly newsletters with important information about upcoming events. We host PTA meetings and Parent/Teacher conferences to keep you informed about your child's development.
We utilize a secure front door "card-slide" system. Identification cards are supplied to families upon enrollment. Only authorized personnel will be issued a card. The Safety and Security department at Hunterdon Medical Center monitors who comes in and exits the building and are ready to respond to any safety issues. Other guests without an identification card must ring the door bell and be let in by a staff members.
